This comprehensive mint hydroponic kit comes with everything you need to grow your favourite herb. The body of our system is creatively fashioned from recycled wine bottles, with all edges attentively smoothed by hand, ensuring your safety from any sharp remnants that might have been left from the bottle-cutting process. Watering is as simple as it gets - just keep an eye on the clearly indicated water level and top up as required, usually every two weeks. Your kit is accompanied by a generous amount of organic hydroponic solution, sufficient to support your herb growth for up to two years. For those still refining their green thumb, we've included extra parts to give you a second shot at perfecting your cultivation skills.

As an herb, mint is loved for its potent yet unique flavour profile. It features a cooling, slightly sweet flavour balanced with a gentle bitterness. Much like basil, mint leaves can lose their flavour when subjected to heat, so it's best to add them just before serving. Additionally, the freshness and aroma of mint tend to fade over time once harvested or stored, which underscores the advantage of the Hydro-Herb kit. Delivery & Returns
Delivery
We're taking a short break - all orders shipped from 29/12.
We are able to ship to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Wight, and the Channel Islands. However, these shipments are arranged on a case-by-case basis to ensure the best possible service.
If you are located in one of these areas, please contact us directly at hello@urban-farm-it.com to place your order.
Note: Please refer to the specific lead times shown on product pages for more accurate delivery times.
- Small Orders (E.g. 100ml Spawn, Plugs): Sent via Royal Mail large letters.
- Medium-Sized Orders (under 2kg): Royal Mail 24-48 hour tracked parcel.
- Large Orders (2kg+): via DPD Express or APC.
This does not apply to our Gift E-Cards, which are delivered via email.
If you'd like your parcel left in a safe place, this needs to be arranged directly through the courier's website or delivery notification.
To enable this function you must leave a valid email address. Once your order is on its way, you should receive a notification from the courier with a link to manage your delivery. Simply follow that link to choose a safe place or make any other delivery preferences.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to set a safe place on your behalf.
Returns
Due to the perishable nature of spawn we are unable to accept cancellations of orders or returns of these products.
- If your mushroom spawn arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us at hello@urban-farm-it.com within 24 hours of receiving the item. You will be eligible for a replacement or refund if we are notified within this timeframe, along with supporting documentation such as photos of the item and packaging.
- Refunds or replacements will not be issued for reports received beyond the 24-hour window, as the quality of perishable items can degrade rapidly.
