This all-encompassing rocket hydroponic kit contains everything you need to cultivate this piquant leafy green. Our system's structure is innovatively fashioned from recycled wine bottles, with all edges painstakingly smoothed by hand, ensuring your safety from any potential sharp fragments that might have been left from the bottle-modification process. Hydration is a cinch - just keep an eye on the clearly signposted water level and refill as necessary, typically every two weeks. Your kit comes with a generous amount of organic hydroponic solution, sufficient to nourish your rocket growth for up to two years. For those still honing their gardening craft, we've included additional parts to give you a second chance at perfecting your cultivation skills.
Rocket
Also known as arugula or roquette, rocket is a leafy green enjoyed worldwide for its distinctive, peppery flavour. Its leaves add a lively zing to many plant-based dishes, making it a favourite in a variety of culinary creations.
Rocket is recognized for its bold and unique taste profile. It showcases a somewhat nutty flavour with a peppery punch - a stark contrast to many other leafy greens. Similar to many herbs, rocket leaves tend to lose their flavour when subjected to heat, hence it's best to incorporate them into your dishes just before serving. Furthermore, the potency of rocket's flavour decreases over time once harvested or stored, making the case for the Hydro-Herb kit even stronger. Delivery & Returns
Delivery
We're taking a short break - all orders shipped from 29/12.
We are able to ship to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Wight, and the Channel Islands. However, these shipments are arranged on a case-by-case basis to ensure the best possible service.
If you are located in one of these areas, please contact us directly at hello@urban-farm-it.com to place your order.
Note: Please refer to the specific lead times shown on product pages for more accurate delivery times.
- Small Orders (E.g. 100ml Spawn, Plugs): Sent via Royal Mail large letters.
- Medium-Sized Orders (under 2kg): Royal Mail 24-48 hour tracked parcel.
- Large Orders (2kg+): via DPD Express or APC.
This does not apply to our Gift E-Cards, which are delivered via email.
If you'd like your parcel left in a safe place, this needs to be arranged directly through the courier's website or delivery notification.
To enable this function you must leave a valid email address. Once your order is on its way, you should receive a notification from the courier with a link to manage your delivery. Simply follow that link to choose a safe place or make any other delivery preferences.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to set a safe place on your behalf.
Returns
Due to the perishable nature of spawn we are unable to accept cancellations of orders or returns of these products.
- If your mushroom spawn arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us at hello@urban-farm-it.com within 24 hours of receiving the item. You will be eligible for a replacement or refund if we are notified within this timeframe, along with supporting documentation such as photos of the item and packaging.
- Refunds or replacements will not be issued for reports received beyond the 24-hour window, as the quality of perishable items can degrade rapidly.
