Product Overview
Dust-extracted and untreated chopped wheat straw is an ideal substrate for growing mushrooms on a low budget. You can easily sterilise our chopped wheat straw with either boiling water or soaking it in cold water and builder’s lime.
Our Chopped Wheat Straw is eucalyptus free. Most commercial chopped straws are made with eucalyptus, a natural fungicide which isn’t ideal for mushrooms to grow.
