Delivery

We are able to ship to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands, the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Wight, and the Channel Islands. However, these shipments are arranged on a case-by-case basis to ensure the best possible service.

  1. Small Orders (E.g. 100ml Spawn, Plugs): Sent via Royal Mail large letters.
  2. Medium-Sized Orders (under 2kg): Royal Mail 24-48 hour tracked parcel.
  3. Large Orders (2kg+): via DPD Express.

If you'd like your parcel left in a safe place, this needs to be arranged directly through the courier's website or delivery notification.

To enable this function you must leave a valid email address. Once your order is on its way, you should receive a notification from the courier with a link to manage your delivery. Simply follow that link to choose a safe place or make any other delivery preferences.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to set a safe place on your behalf.

Returns

  1. Standard Returns: Returns and exchanges within 14 days of receipt. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. See our returns policy here.

This does not apply to our Gift E-Cards, which are delivered via email.

Stellar service from the business after sale

Although the kit didn't produce any mushrooms I was extremely happy with the level of service I received from Urban Farm-It when I asked them for help. They asked me certain questions about what I did with the kit once I received it and how I used it to see what was causing the problem and offered solutions to try and make the kit grow mushrooms. When it became obvious that the kit wasn't going to work they offered to send me a replacement at no extra cost (even on postage), and they also gave me the option to try a different type of mushroom to grow.If you yourself want to buy a kit but are worried that you will be stuck without help you can rest assured that this will not be the case. There are details in the kit that tell you how to contact Urban Farm-It and they genuinely care about you getting a crop of mushrooms from their kits. I received prompt responses whenever I sent them a message and I can safely say that this is the best business I've dealt with in a long time that put in the effort into their after sales care.
