FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How should I store my kit?

We recommend starting your Lion’s Mane kit as soon as possible, as it contains a live mushroom fruiting block that performs best when used fresh.

If you do need to delay, you can store the fruiting block in the fridge for up to 14 days.

Make sure it’s kept cold and dry, and avoid any exposure to warm or humid conditions, which could trigger growth or spoilage.

Why are my Lion's Mane mushrooms pink?

A slight pink or blush tint on your Lion’s Mane is usually nothing to worry about and can occur due to environmental factors such as light exposure, temperature, or humidity levels. This natural colour variation is quite common and doesn’t affect the quality or edibility of the mushroom.

However, if the pinking is accompanied by unusual smells, sliminess, or rapid discolouration, feel free to get in touch with more information so we can take a closer look.
