Our Mushroom Log Kits include everything you need to start your mushroom cultivation: 50 mushroom plugs, log sealing wax, a waxing brush, an 8mm drill bit, and a detailed log grow guide.

Besides the Mushroom Log Kit, you’ll need a mallet, drill, and a hardwood log.

Hardwood logs such as Oak, Hornbeam, Alder, Beech, or other hardwoods are ideal for mushroom cultivation. Be sure to check the recommendation for your specific species.

Whilst the first harvest time can vary depending on the species you’re growing, you can generally expect your first mushroom harvest about 6 to 12 months after inoculation. From then on, enjoy 4-6 harvests a year for up to 6 years.

The included mushroom spawn is living and should be stored correctly in refrigerated conditions, only for short periods before use.
